Inverurie Library
Inverurie Library was the fourth library we were asked to create design work for, Peterhead, Westhill and Ellon being the previous three.
By now we had formulated an incredibly well-received rationale for the look and feel of the Libraries in the wide area of Aberdeenshire. Inverurie was no exception to the this but we kept going further, with much larger display panels and more ambitious treatments for interiors and stairwells.
Inverurie Library was an incredible project for us to be involved in. The public feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and has lead to in impressive interior space for the public to enjoy. We thought at the time that this would be the end of our involvement. However, we were then asked to look at Stonehaven and Fraserburgh libraries as well!
