Flock – craft fair
Flock is the name of the new Design and Craft Fair at Woodend Barn – the first fair this year will be November 2014 (and we’re going to be selling our designs too!)
UPDATE: We’re now heading for year 3. Flock was, and continues to be, a huge success. Last year more than 2000 people passed through the doors, and it’s looking like November 2016 will be even more popular as the event’s reputation grows.
The design
The word Flock means many things – all to do with coming together. The branding for the fair will develop over the coming months (we have lots of ideas), but in the mean time we have produced an identity which is both contemporary and retro. The fair will showcase high-end design practitioner-makers so we’ve used a colour scheme and typeface reflecting this. The typeface itself is very sculptural in it’s form… something which we’ll be exploiting in the future.
Flock 2 – 2015
Ringing the changes for 2015 we have gone pink!
Flock 3 – 2016
For the third flock we have chosen a luscious fresh minty green to go along with that bitter chocolate brown.
It’s all dedicated to the delicious design-led gifts you’ll find at the Barn in November… yum!
