Aberdeenshire Heritage Fairs
We were commissioned to produce the identity for the Aberdeenshire Heritage Fairs which celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Aberdeenshire.
We continue to work closely with the Council, and our involvement has now expanded to cover culture and heritage as well as our initial approach to the Arts and Education.
The design
This strong and unusual identity has been created around the many pictish symbols found in the area – at first you may read it as a simple pattern, but looking closer you’ll see a horse, a bull, a deer and other elements all taken from historical records.
The identity is present on all publicity and the symbols within the typographic design are used as a talking point in presentations given at the fairs.
